The impetus that drove The 119 to start investing in venture was our Founder’s decision that the only way to help shape the future of the built environment is to also help shape the future of its occupants.  This mindset as well as a desire to invest impactfully and guide and collaborate with entrepreneurial minds is what drove our first venture investment in 2014.
